Steffen Jürgens (former stage name: Bernd Berger ; born February 14, 1968 at Greifswalder Bodden ) is a German pop singer.

Life

In 1999 he made his first contact with a music agency during a major event in Oldenburg, which resulted in his first record deal. At that time he performed under the artist name Bernd Berger. In 2003 he switched to the record company IX Records. In the same year the maxi CD “Love at first sight” landed at number 1 in Uwe Hübner's hit parade.

In 2004 he was on stage for the first time with the real name Steffen Jürgens and released the album "Ich bin wieder da". This was followed by the maxi CD “7 Days Sunday”, which made it to number 2 on the German hit charts.

In 2005 he joined Tyrolis Music in Austria. The recordings for the album "Sehnsucht", released in September 2005, began in collaboration with his producer Robert Meister. In 2006 the maxi "Hell Mix" was released, which made it to number 2 in the German hit charts. In 2007 he performed at an open air event in his former home town of Lubmin in front of around 1,600 guests, where he presented his album “Gehen oder Stay”. The single, "Never" from the album "Gehn oder Stay" landed at number 6 on DSC. The second single "Alles wird gut", also from the album "Gehn oder haben", made it to number 1 on the DSC.

In 2008 the maxi CD "Das Verzeih 'Ich Dir Nie - New Remix" reached number 1 in the DSC. In the summer, the new maxi CD "Why" was released, which reached number 1 on the barn charts as a "New DJ Mix".

In 2009 the album "Dangerously Honest" was released. 2010 is all about the marketing of his current album “Dangerous Honest”.

August 2011 his album "Strong as never" was released.
