Steffen Bull

Steffen Stier (* 1961 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Stier was GDR champion in team pursuit in 1980 and from 1982 to 1984. In 1981, a third place in the championship was added. In 1981 he was runner-up in the two-man team driving , in 1982 he was third in this discipline. From the traditional track races in the Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle in Berlin , he was able to win the international two-man team championship with Mario Hernig in 1981 . He was one of the most successful drivers on the winter track, he won numerous races, especially in the points race and two-man team races . Here he also won another title when he won the points race at the 1982 GDR championship on the winter track. Stier started for the SC Karl-Marx-Stadt . When he started on the road, he was able to finish second in the Oder Tour in 1984 (with a stage win), but retired from the GDR Tour .
