Steffen Wilhelm (born August 8, 1981 in Erfurt ) is a German actor and director .

Life

He grew up in Erfurt and attended the Evangelisches Ratsgymnasium there . From 2001 he received training as an actor and director in the Schotte youth theater in Erfurt. Since the same year he has been playing as a DJ specializing in the disco era (1978–1982). Together with Paul Schröder he founded the duo Paul and Willi (originally "Suþcultura") in 1997 , with which they won the Swiss Comedy Award and the Cabinet Prize in the Comedy category in 2005 and the BalconyTV Music Video Award in 2009. In 2013 he finished his social pedagogy studies.

In 2010 he founded the improvisational theater group Improsant with Andreas Schulze, Angelique Kranholdt and Alexandra Stein .
