Steffen Wurzel

Steffen Wurzel (* 1979 in Rastatt ) is a German radio journalist , active for ARD and Deutschlandfunk , currently foreign correspondent for China, with a focus on business reporting .

Life

Wurzel studied history in Karlsruhe and joined the Südwestrundfunk (SWR) as a volunteer . As a junior correspondent he was at the ARD radio studio in Istanbul, followed by correspondent representations in Cairo, Johannesburg and Shanghai, where from September 2016 he worked as a correspondent in the ARD foreign studio with a focus on business reporting for the ARD broadcasters.

He is the author and contributor of 12 issues of the daily program Background in DLF and other programs.
