Stegna ( German : Steegen) is a village with approx. 2300 inhabitants on the Gdańsk Bay in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . Stegna is the capital of the rural community of the same name with almost 10,000 inhabitants.

Stegna is about 30 km east of Gdansk and about 10 km north of the district town of Nowy Dwór Gdański (Tiegenhof) on the national road 501 from Gdansk via Krynica Morska to Piaski (Neukrug) .
Attractions
Stegna has a 13 km long beach on the Baltic Sea . The visitor will find numerous pensions, hotels and campsites. Every year the world championships in amber fishing take place in the district of Jantar .
The local half-timbered church is well worth seeing , before 1945 Protestant and since 1945 Catholic parish church Herz Jesu from 1682/83 with its distinctive needle helmet.
Next to the church there are some wooden boxes from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Sztutowo with the former Stutthof concentration camp is located in the vicinity of the village .
