The Cup of the Styrian Football Association women's short StFV Cup women called, is one of nine possible Austrian football - cup competitions for women at association level, of the Styrian Football Federation aligned and the knockout system is discharged.

The cup competition is called the Steier Cup Women and is a qualifying competition for the ÖFB Ladies Cup . This is currently has the same sponsor as the men and is called the WOCHE Cup women . USV Ottendorf won the title in the 2018/19 season.

The STFV decided in 2012 as the fourth national association to play the women's cup. So far, SC St. Ruprecht / Raab, DFC Zeltweg, UDFC Hof bei Straden, Wildcats Krottendorf, Ladies Hengsberg, Ladies Preding and USV Ottendorf have made the list of winners.

For the women's cup competition, like the men, the Wochenzeitungs GmbH Steiermark was won and that is the name of the WOCHE Cup women .

Game mode, participants and draw

The StFV Women Cup is held in the knockout system. All rounds are decided in one game, up to the round of 16 the club that plays in the lowest division has home rights. If both clubs play in the same league, the first-named club has home rights at the time of the draw. Home rights are drawn from the round of 16. In the final, the winner of the first semi-final game drawn is considered the home team, the winner of the second semi-final game drawn as the away team. If there is a tie after 90 minutes the winner will be played an extra time of 2 times 15 minutes. If there is still no winner, this will be determined in a penalty shoot-out.

  • 1st round: preliminary round (clubs from regional league, upper league north & south)
  • 3rd round: Round of 16: 16 participants
  • 4th round: quarter-finals: 8 participants
  • 5th round: semi-finals: 4 participants
  • 6th round: Final: 2 participants
