Game mode, participants and draw

The VFV Women's Cup is held in a knockout system. All rounds are decided in one game, up to the round of 16 the club that plays in the lowest division has home rights. If both clubs play in the same league, the first-named club has home rights at the time of the draw. Home rights are drawn from the round of 16. In the final, the winner of the first semi-final game drawn is considered the home team, the winner of the second semi-final game drawn as the away team. If there is a draw after 90 minutes, the winner will be determined immediately (without extra time) in a penalty shoot-out.

  • 1st round: preliminary round (clubs from the regional league)
  • 2nd round: Round of 16: (clubs from the Vorarlbergliga join)
