Eponym Steinheim am Albuch

Steinheim is an impact crater on Mars with a double- layer ejecta cover . It is located in the Diacria degree field in the Arcadia levels.

The Mars crater takes its name from the village of Steinheim am Albuch in Baden-Württemberg , known for the Steinheim basin . It was established by the International Astronomical Union in 2007.
