Stephan Haase (* 1968 in Hellersen ) from Lüdenscheid is a right-wing extremist politician of the NPD . He has been the state chairman of the party in North Rhine-Westphalia since November 2002 and has also been a member of the federal executive committee since October 2004, where he heads the “Special Tasks” section.

NPD functionary

Haase, who worked as an offset printer and electroplater , was initially active in the neo-Nazi organizationNationalist Front ” (NF) until it was banned on November 16, 1992 because of its “affinity with National Socialism” and its “aggressive and combative” agitation. Thereupon he became active in the " Free Comradeship Scene ", in particular the " Sauerland Action Front " (SAF), and in the NPD and acted among other things as "Base Manager Lüdenscheid". From November 2002 to June 2008 he was NPD state chairman in North Rhine-Westphalia.

For the local elections in September 2004, Haase ran for second place on the REP electoral list in the city of Lüdenscheid and only narrowly missed entry into the city parliament. Of the six candidates, four were partly high-ranking NPD functionaries and, with Lüdenscheid City Councilor Jürgen Thiel, only one was a republican member, which is why there were strong differences with the REP state and federal leaders and a party expulsion procedure was opened against Thiel.

In the 2005 state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia, Stephan Haase ran for second place on the NPD state list behind the national chairman of the NPD Udo Voigt . For the 2005 Bundestag election he ran as a direct candidate for the NPD in the Olpe - Märkischer Kreis I constituency . On February 12, 2006, he ran for the mayoral election in Schalksmühle (Märkischer Kreis).

In the local elections in 2009, Stephan Haase was the only NPD candidate to join the Lüdenscheid City Council via the reserve list. A demonstration was held against this entry on October 30th. An alliance of various parties, trade unions and all Lüdenscheid high schools called for this. In 2014 he ran unsuccessfully for the office of mayor of the city.

Operator of the right-wing extremist "Donner Versand"

In addition to his work for the NF and the NPD, Haase, together with the neo-Nazi and former NF member Harald Theodor Mehr, ran the neo-Nazi "Donner Versand" in Lüdenscheid, at that time one of the largest mail order companies in Germany for right-wing rock and neo-Nazi devotional items . During a police search of the dispatch room in 1995, a video of the Holocaust denier Thies Christophersen and T-shirts with the emblem of the banned military sports group Hoffmann were confiscated.

At the end of 1996 Haase was sentenced to seven months imprisonment on probation and a fine of 2,000 DM for inciting hatred and disseminating marks of an anti-constitutional organization. However, the prison sentence was reduced to six months in the 1997 appeal hearing before the Hagen district court . The lawyers Günther Herzogenrath-Amelung and Hans Günter Eisenecker, popular in the right-wing extremist scene, acted as defenders . In 1998, in connection with a suspended sentence, Haase was banned from running a wholesale and retail trade, a printing company or a shipping company.

NPD functionary and DFB referee at Rot-Weiss Lüdenscheid

Stephan Haase has been an active referee at RWL since 2007, he whistles at youth games. Here are some of the views of the referee of the DFB: "First and foremost is the preservation of the German people, as it has historically grown, I would subordinate everything to this goal." "The more foreigners come, the more uncomfortable I feel. We want Germans to stay in Germany. ”“ Drive the proportion of foreigners towards zero as far as possible. After that, Germans would be given preferential treatment when looking for jobs. "
