Stephanie Everywhere
Stephanie Überall (born September 11, 1959 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German cabaret artist who became known through her role in the cabaret duo Missfits alongside her colleague Gerburg Jahnke .
Career
Everywhere comes from a working class family and has four older siblings. After school she went to France for a year. Then she began studying German and literature and communication studies, which she did not finish. She also played in independent theater groups.
In 1985 she founded the female cabaret duo Missfits with Gerburg Jahnke , which existed for twenty years and became one of the most famous German cabaret duos. In 2004, together with Gerburg Jahnke, she received the Citizenship of the Ruhr Area award .
In 2005 the Missfits separated.
In 2010, Überall and Jahnke worked together again for the first time after a break of several years, on the production Sehnsucht in Oberhausen's Ebertbad . In 2012 they performed together for a reading from their book Krapf und Krömmelbein , published in 1996 .
