Career
Jahnke studied art and German at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and in Münster . After the first state examination , she decided against the teaching profession and turned to the theater: she toured Germany and France with a female street theater troupe. In 2004 she and Stephanie Überall received the Citizenship of the Ruhr Area award .
Even after the Missfits separated in 2005, Jahnke remained present in the North Rhine-Westphalian cabaret scene. In 2006 she could be seen with Uwe Lyko and Jochen Malmsheimer in the revue Fußballfieber , and she could also be heard for some time every Tuesday at U-Punkt on WDR 2 . Until 2010 she performed regularly with Fritz and Hermann . From 2007 to 2018 she hosted the TV cabaret show Ladies Night , initially on WDR and later on Das Erste . She used the unusual female form " guest " as a key word.
Since March 2009 Jahnke has toured Germany with, among others, Krissie Illing , Carolin Kebekus , Patrizia Moresco and Martina Schwarzmann as part of the program Frau Jahnke has invited .
In 2010, Überall and Jahnke worked together again for the first time after a five-year break, on the production Sehnsucht in Oberhausen's Ebertbad . In 2012 they performed together for a reading from their book Krapf und Krömmelbein , published in 1996 .
Since 1994 she has been engaged to Hajo Sommers , chairman of the Rot-Weiß Oberhausen soccer club .
