Jochen Malmsheimer (born July 27, 1961 in Essen ) is a German cabaret artist . Characteristic of his appearances is the elaboration of profanities in life with great vocal and verbal power.

biography

Jochen Malmsheimer grew from the age of six in Bochum and graduated in 1982 at the Gymnasium am Ostring the High School . After military service he studied German literature and history at the University of Bochum and broke the study then in favor of a bookseller from. Malmsheimer became known as one half of the cabaret duo Tresenlesen , which he formed with Frank Goosen from 1992 to 2000 . Before that, he had already gained a lot of stage experience since 1981 as the singer of the blues band Vatermörder , which stylistically oriented itself towards the Blues Brothers and often appeared in pubs, but also at larger regional events such as the Bochum Total music festival . Since 2000, Malmsheimer has mainly appeared as a solo artist. He has created his very own art form in numerous stage programs: epic cabaret. From 2007 to 2013 he regularly slipped into the role of the caretaker in the ZDF cabaret show Neues aus der Anstalt . Together with Urban Priol , Georg Schramm and Frank-Markus Barwasser , he was seen on October 17, 2017 in the 30th episode of the institution . His artistic work can be read in his volume, Geschrängte Wochenansicht - Ein Vademecum der Gute Laune , published in 2015 .

Jochen Malmsheimer is married and has two sons.
