Stephanie Hundertmark (born March 5, 1968 in Celle ) is a German singer .

biography

Stephanie Hundertmark laid the foundation stone of her career as a child with a children's choir, recorder and piano lessons. After a year abroad in California , she used her newfound connection to the English language to devote herself to songwriting and singing in bands. At the beginning of the 90s she moved from Celle to Hamburg and continued to develop her style there. She returned to the United States for some time and improved her songwriting skills at the Northern California Songwriters Association . She then took part in the music college's pop course in Hamburg . She sang as a studio musician for various television, advertising and CD productions and had her first radio, television and international appearances with the a cappella band Five Live . In 2001 she was discovered by the Hamburg-based producer Ansgar Üffink for his recently founded ambient project Vargo and with her released the album Beauty at the end of 2004 . She produced Hundertmark's solo album Wishlist together with the Bluwi production team . Some of the pieces were already known from the film Out of Control , for which Hundertmark lends the actress Christiane Paul her voice. After two more Vargo albums, Precious (2010) and Goodbye Is A New Beginning (2014), the latter of which is a farewell album, Hundertmark concentrated again on her songwriting talents: for her own works, she booked the Canadian producer Joby Baker in 2015 , whose recordings have already been nominated for the Grammy , Latin Grammy and Juno Awards, and traveled to Vancouver Island to produce her second solo album at Baker Studios. In May 2017 her solo album Enjoy The View , produced there, was finally released under the Vargo label Ambient Domain .
