Stephanus Tri Buu Thien
Stephanus Tri Buu Thien ( Vietnamese : Stêphanô Tri Bửu Thiên ; born February 15, 1950 in Trà Lồng ) is a Vietnamese clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Cần Thơ .
Life
Stephanus Tri Buu Thien was ordained a priest on July 22, 1987 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him coadjutor bishop of Cần Thơ on November 26, 2002 . The bishop of Cần Th, Emmanuel Lê Phong Thuân , donated his episcopal ordination on February 18 of the next year; Co- consecrators were Pierre Nguyễn Văn Nhơn , Bishop of Đà Lạt , and Pierre Nguyên Van Nho , Coadjutor Bishop of Nha Trang .
With the death of Emmanuel Lê Phong Thuân on October 17, 2010, he succeeded him as Bishop of Cần Thơ.
