Stephen Kay

Stephen Kay (* 1963 in New Zealand ) is a New Zealand actor and director .

Life

Kay gained his first experience in the film business as an actor with various small roles in film and television productions in the early 1990s. He received a recurring role in 1995 for the television series Deadly Game . From 1998 to 2003 General Hospital was featured in the series .

In 1994 he made his first appearance as a director with the short film Two Over Easy . Three years later he directed his first feature film, How I committed suicide for the first time . In 2000 he directed the action film Get Carter with Sylvester Stallone in the lead role . This movie was followed by three television films, including The Dead Will Tell in 2004 . He directed a horror film with Boogeyman from 2005. Since then he has been working again mainly for television and, in addition to some television films, shot several episodes for series such as The Shield - Law of Violence , Sons of Anarchy and Covert Affairs .

As a screenwriter for the film Mod Squad - Temporary Cops , Kay was nominated for the Golden Raspberry in the worst script category in 1999.
