Stephen Ronald "Steve" Aiken OBE (born June 16, 1962 in Ballyclare , Northern Ireland ) is a politician of the Ulster Unionist Party from Northern Ireland. He was elected as a UUP candidate in the 2016 and 2017 Northern Ireland Assembly elections in the South Antrim constituency. Before entering politics, he served in the Royal Navy . When Robin Swann announced his resignation as chairman of the Ulster Unionist Party in 2019, Aiken decided to run for leadership. He was elected chairman in November 2019 unopposed.

He attended Ballyclare High School and then King's College London (MA Defense Studies, 2001) and the University of Cambridge (MPhil, 2013; PhD, 2016).
