Steve Marlet (born January 10, 1974 in Pithiviers ) is a former French football player .

Career

society

The two-footed attacking player played in the Bundesliga with VfL Wolfsburg until 2005 . In the 2006/07 season he returned to France, where a season at FC Lorient followed. He was then without a club for two years, then followed by two years at the amateur club FC Municipal d'Aubervilliers , where he proved that he had not yet lost his scoring potential. In 2011, the now 37-year-old Marlet, who was associated with Ipswich Town in 2007 and Chicago Fire and Stade Reims in 2008 , signed a one-year contract with third division Red Star Paris , the club where his career had started two decades earlier. At Red Star, he also took up the position of sports director in 2013 .

National team

Steve Marlet played 24 full internationals for the French national team , scoring six goals. He was a participant in the Confederations Cup in 2001 (one hit) and 2003.
