Steve Speirs

Steve Speirs (born February 22, 1965 in Troedyrhiw ) is a Welsh actor, producer and screenwriter.

Life

Speirs was born in a small village near Merthyr Tydfil in Wales . He studied drama at Loughborough University . He then began an acting career and also got supporting roles in some Hollywood blockbusters such as Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace , Pirates of the Caribbean 2 , Eragon - The Legacy of the Dragon Riders and Inkheart .

In 2008 he took on one of the bigger roles in the fantasy series Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire . In 2010 he played a small role in the comedy Burke & Hare alongside Andy Serkis and Simon Pegg . In the TV movie Cor, Blimey! from 2000 he was also seen in the role of Bernard Bresslaw and in the two- parter Sharpe's Peril alongside Sean Bean in the role of Sergeant Wormwood.
