Steven Blaney

Steven Blaney (born April 8, 1965 in Sherbrooke , Québec ) is a businessman and a Canadian politician .

He was elected as Conservative MP for Canada for the constituency of Lévis-Bellechasse, Québec in the 2006 , 2008 and 2011 elections. In the general election in 2015 , he won the mandate in the Bellechasse - Les Etchemins - Lévis constituency.

In the Harper cabinet he was Minister for Veterans Affairs from May 2011 to July 2013, Minister for Francophonie from February to July 2013 and Minister for Public Security and Emergency Preparedness from July 2013 to 2015.
