Steven C. Miller

Steven C. Miller (born March 8, 1981 in Decatur , Georgia ) is an American film director and film editor .

Life

Miller made his directorial debut in 2005 with a short documentary on the film Frankenstein Reborn by Leigh Scott . Also in 2005 he finished his studies at Full Sail University. The following year he directed the low-budget film Run for Blood , in which he was also involved as a film editor . A career that followed immediately within the Hollywood studio system failed.

It was only with a delay that other productions followed, mainly from the action and horror sectors. Best known is Silent Night from 2012, which is a remake of Silent Night - Deadly Night from 1984. The films Extraction (2015) and Marauders (2016) were starring Bruce Willis . Another cooperation between the two followed in 2017 with First Kill .
