Leigh Scott (born February 18, 1972 in Milwaukee , Wisconsin ) is an American film director , film producer , film editor and screenwriter who also appears as an actor .

Life

Scott made his film debut in 1998 as the director and screenwriter of the comedy Art House . In the same year he directed another comedy with Venice Beach Girls . It was not until the 2000s that he reappeared in Leigh. First he produced the film Jane White Is Sick & Twisted in 2002 , and he was also seen as an actor in the reluctant dream couple .

In 2005 he made his first horror film, Frankenstein Reborn , in which he was also involved as editor and screenwriter. This was followed primarily by horror films, which he directed for the production studio The Asylum . In addition, Leigh is also involved in fantasy and science fiction films. Since 2007 he has been active as a cameraman from time to time.

In 2011 he made the literary film adaptation The Witches of Oz , which featured well-known actors such as Christopher Lloyd , Billy Boyd and B-Stars such as Lance Henriksen and Jeffrey Combs . The film even got a theatrical release in the US in 2012 under the title Dorothy and the Witches of Oz .
