Steven E. Kuhn

Steven Eugene Kuhn (born May 30, 1967 in Pennsylvania , USA ) is an American writer and former soldier.

Life

In 1986, at the age of 19 and immediately after graduating from high school, Kuhn joined the United States Army and was then transferred to Gelnhausen , Germany. With the beginning of the Gulf War in 1990 and 1991, he was sent to Iraq . At the time, he was 23 years old and had to fight on the front lines. He received the Bronze Star for his work . In 1993 he resigned from the army.

Kuhn then worked in various European countries for American , English and German companies. He received his MBA after studying at Bradford University in Leeds , England.

In 2003 his experiences were published in the book Soldier in the Gulf War - from fighter to doubter . The book was discussed in various national newspapers and radio programs, such as B. by Christoph Dieckmann in Zeit , in the Süddeutsche , and on Friday . The book was also reported in regional newspapers.

He works as a management consultant, holds readings, seminars and teaches in the field of "personal coaching" for strategic communication.
