Stine Hovland (* 31 January 1991 , Norway ) is a Norwegian football spielerin that since the season 2019 for the AC Milan for and since 2018 Norway women's national football team plays.

Career

societies

Hovland played from 2010 for Kaupanger IL in the 2nd division and from 2013 in the 1st division. For the 2014 season she moved to the first division relegated IL Sandviken and rose with the club at the end of the season in the top series . In the following seasons, she shuttled with the club between 9th and 6th place. In 2018, she reached the cup final with Sandviken, but lost it 4-0 against Lillestrøm SK Kvinner . After the 2019 World Cup, she moved to the Italian club AC Milan .

National teams

Hovland never played for a Norwegian junior team. On November 11, 2018, at the age of 27, she played for Norway for the first time in the 4-1 defeat in Tottori against Japan . She was in the starting line-up and played the full distance. She was also used in the first five games of the World Cup year, where she also played the full distance, and won the Algarve Cup 2019 with the team . On May 2, it was nominated for the 2019 World Cup , but was not used.
