Wohlfahrtsschlag is a locality and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of St. Anton an der Jeßnitz in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

The scattered settlement is located south of the Statzberg 948  m above sea level. A. and consists of numerous homesteads in individual locations and the districts of Vorderer Schlagerboden and Winterbach , which are also scattered settlements.

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 95 building areas with 38,614 m² and 56 gardens on 197,736 m² in the cadastral community Wohlfahrtsschlag , in 1989/1990 there were 94 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 164 and in 2009/2010 there were 121 buildings on 165 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 725 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 455 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 684 hectares and 507 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 684 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 502 hectares. The average soil climate number of Wohlfahrtsschlag is 15.8 (as of 2010).
