Stine Marg

Stine Marg (* 1983 in Rostock ) is a German political scientist .

Life

After graduation in 2003 at the high school Sanitz she studied 2003-2008 Political Science , Medieval and Modern History at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (MA).

Since 2009 she has been a research assistant in the party and political culture research group at the Göttingen Institute for Democracy Research . In 2013, she became an advance in the middle with Franz Walter's dissertation . Focus groups as an instrument for exploring the social center that is in need of functioning for Dr. disc. pole. PhD. Her main research interests are political cultural research, qualitative social research, protest research and social formations.

Since 2013 she has been the managing director of the Göttingen Institute for Democracy Research. In the 2017/18 winter semester, Marg will replace her predecessor Franz Walter in the professorship and head of the institute, since Walter has taken early retirement for health reasons.
