The Stoakogler were an Austrian folk music group made out of gases in Styria .

history

The three Willingshofer brothers Fritz, Hans and Reinhold founded the group on February 2, 1968 as the Stoakogler Trio . When singer Reinhold began to suffer from voice problems, "honorary brother" Franz Böhm from Köflach joined in 1993 , and the name was changed to Die Stoakogler . Since the mid-1980s, the initial trio and later the quartet have been represented in numerous radio and television events ( Musikantenstadl , Wenn die Musispiele etc.).

On September 3, 2011, the Stoakogler ended their career with their traditional hiking day and a last concert in Fernitz .
