The Strážný potok (German Tuscherbach or Tuschbach , also Twerasbach ) is a left tributary of the Moldau / Vltava in the Czech Republic .
course
The creek rises about two kilometers west of Světlík in the Bohemian Forest foothills associated Českokrumlovská vrchovina ( Krummenauer hills ). Its source is located northwest of the Svánkov ( Reith ) desert . On its upper course to the east, the Strážný potok is dammed in a nameless pond and then flows north to Světlík, where it feeds the pond Světlík, and the Křížová hora ( Kreuzberg , 828 m nm) past. Along its further course north of the Křížový Kopec (700 m nm) lie the deserts of Vysoká ( Hohenschlag ), Velké Strážné ( Groß Drossen ) and Brettmühle as well as the one-layer Bláha ( Blaha ). In Vadkov ( Neudörfl ) the Strážný potok takes a south-easterly direction and flows past Bohdalovice and the deserted Březí ( Wuretzhöfen ). From Pod Svérazem, the stream forms a deeply cut valley, above which the towns of Svéraz ( Tweras ), Slubice ( Schlumnitz ), Zátoňské Dvory ( Ebenau ) and Nahořany ( Hochdorf ) as well as the desert areas Lštín ( Alsching ) and Tisovka ( Distlowitz ) are located. After 11.5 kilometers, the Strážný potok flows into the Vltava southwest of Zátoň .
