Světlík (German Kirchschlag ; in older times Lichtenwerd ) is a municipality in the Okres Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic . It is located about ten kilometers southwest of Český Krumlov .
geography
Světlík is located in the south-eastern foothills of the Bohemian Forest , in the center of the great Vltava arch . The place lies south over the valley of the Strážný potok . The 868 m high Kraviná rises to the northwest and the 823 m high Křížová hora ( Kreuzberg ) to the southeast . The Moldau Reservoir is seven kilometers to the west .
Neighboring towns are Kladenské Rovné ( Kladener Ruben ) in the north, Slavkov ( Lagau ) and Větřní in the Northeast, Bohdalovice in the Northeast, SUS ( ink ) and Zátoň the east, Blatná in the south, Milná ( Mühlnöd ) and Kovářovy in the southwest, Muskov and Cerna v Pošumaví in the west and Hořice na Šumavě in the north-west.
Community structure
No districts are identified for the municipality of Světlík. Basic settlement units are Dvořetín ( Klein Uretschlag ), Pasovary ( Passern ), Světlík ( Kirchschlag ) and Velké Strážné ( Groß Drossen ). Světlík also includes the Štokov ( Stoker Hof ) and U Mlýna ( Gaymill ) layers . In the municipality there are also the desert areas of Bedřichov ( Friedrichsau ), Černíkov ( Groß Uretschlag ), Čert v lese ( Devil in the Forest ), Malá Strašeň ( Kleindrossen ), Svánkov ( Reith ) and Vysoká ( Hohenschlag ).
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Dvořetín, Pasovary, Světlík and Velké Strážné.

history
The village was first in 1258 ( prior to 16 June mentioned), as Witiko of Cesky Krumlov the Church in "light Werd" with three courtyards and the village Pfaffenschlag ( Bobovec ) for damages caused and to his own soul the Schlägl transferred. This made Lichtenwerd / Kirchschlag one of the oldest parishes in the monastery. Due to the ecclesiastical affiliation to the monastery and the secular affiliation to the Krumlov rule , numerous documents about the place have been preserved in the respective archives:
- On June 6, 1283, Witiko's sons Heinrich and Wok confirmed the gift of their father in a certificate made out in Schlägl , whereby Lichtenwerd was already referred to as "Kirchschlag".
- In 1291 Dominik von Passern ( Pasovary ) increased the foundation's assets of the church by the third part of the tithe from Passern, and Dominik von Zippendorf also transferred the third part of his tithe from Zippendorf to her in the same year.
- On May 9, 1300, Ulrich von Vistula ( Oldřich z Vyšný ), who bought the Kirchschlag market ( forum in Kirchslag ), confirmed the donation of Woks von Krumau to Schlägl Abbey.
- In the same year, on July 1st, Dominik von Passern increased his foundation from 1291 for the Kirchschläger Church by 110 Viennese groschen annually from the operation of his mill near the forest pond.
After the death of Wok II of Český Krumlov , the possessions of the former Witigon family branch of the Lords of Český Krumlov fell as a settled fiefdom to the Bohemian King Wenceslaus II. He transferred them to his Chamberlain Heinrich I von Rosenberg with a certificate issued on April 8, 1302 in Brno from the also witigon family branch of the Rosenbergs . This subsequently moved his residence from the Rosenberg castle to the Krumlov castle , which remained in the possession of the Rosenbergs to 1602nd From the time after 1302 the following documents, among others, have been received about Kirchschlag:
- At the end of 1307, the Prague bishop Johann IV of Dražice confirmed the donation of the church in "Lichtenwerd", which belonged to the diocese of Prague ( ... ecclesiam in Lichtenwerdi, nostre dyocesis ... ) to the Schlägl monastery .
- On January 23, 1312, Nikolaus von Passauerschlag donated the tithe from his village Dworzatschlag (probably Dvořetín ) to the St. Jacob's Church in Kirchschlag with a certificate issued in Passauerschlag ( Pasovary ).
- On September 8, 1347, Peter I von Rosenberg confirmed all the foundations of his ancestors to Schlägl Abbey, including the Kirchschlag parish.
- After the previous pastor Theoderich von Stafford had become rector ( altarist ) of St. Cyril and Method in Prague, the Roman Curia in Avignon appointed Bartholomäus von Rankov pastor of Kirchschlag ( Swyetlik ) on April 27, 1372 .
- On June 17, 1389, Wernher von Kirchschlag ( Wernherus de Sweytlyk ) sold two farms in the village of Kirchschlag to Ulrich I. von Rosenberg .
- With one of Heinrich III. Rosenberg testified certificate donated the Kirschlägler pastor Bartholomew de Rankov on December 2, 1396 for his soul 84 Shock Prague pennies, which were intended for a sung matins in the parish church of Cesky Krumlov.
- After the death of pastor Bartholomäus, the canon of the Mühlhausen monastery Prziecho was appointed as his successor on May 26, 1403 at the suggestion of the Schlägler provost Diepold .
- Pope Boniface IX commissioned on September 16, 1403 the Břevnov abbot Divíš to confirm the appointment of pastor Prziecho.
- With a Czech document dated November 25, 1445, the brothers Peter and Wenzel donated an anniversary to the court of Jacob the maltster for their father Leonhard and his ancestors, which was to be held in the church of Kirchschlag ( Swietlyk ).
- The Schlägler Provost Johannes donated the income from the parish of Kirchschlag to his convent on May 11, 1486 and at the same time obliged it to hold an anniversary.
In 1423 the Kirchschlag was looted and burned down by the Hussites . Until the abolition of patrimonial Kirchschlag remained connected with the Krumlov rule.
The parish villages Pfaffenschlag, Passern, Großuretschlag, Hohenschlag, Kleinuretschschlag, Großdrosen, Reith, Bocksberg, Friedrichsau and Oggold am Wald belonged to the former parish of Kirchschlag. From the middle of the 19th century, Kirchschlag formed a community that belonged to the judicial district of Krumau in the Krumau district .
school
The Světlík School was first mentioned in 1567. In January 1860 the new school building was completed. In 1899 the school building was expanded to five classes. In 2003 the school and kindergarten were closed due to insufficient numbers of children. The school building was sold and converted into an apartment house.
Attractions
- The parish church of St. Jacob the Elder originally dates from the 13th century. It was rebuilt in the neo-Romanesque style from 1872–1874 under the baton abbot Dominik Lebschy . The interior decoration was created by the Linz sculptor Engelbert Westreicher .
- Ruins of the Pasovary Fortress, which burned down in 1905
