Nová Ves (German Neudorf b. Berlau ) is a municipality with 400 inhabitants in the Czech Republic . It is located 18 kilometers west of České Budějovice and belongs to the Okres Český Krumlov . Nová Ves belongs to the Podkletí microregion . The caste area is 993 ha.

The place is located 558 m above sea level. M. in the valley of the Chmelenský potok in the Blanský les . Neighboring towns are České Chalupy in the north-west, Holašovice in the north-east, Chmelná in the south-east and Brloh in the south-west.
