Zubčice (German Subschitz ) is a municipality with 381 inhabitants (2006) in the Czech Republic . It is located nine kilometers northwest of Kaplice and belongs to the Okres Český Krumlov . The cadastral area is 949 ha.
geography
The place is located at 620 m above sea level. M. on the northern edge of the Poluška Mountains above the Jílecký potok valley . State road 157 runs east of Zubčice between Český Krumlov and Besednice .
Neighboring towns are Mirkovice and Žaltice in the north, Žalčické Samoty and Markvartice in the northeast, Zubčická Lhotka in the east, V Háji in the southeast, Dolní Pláně, Včelíny and Věžovatá Pláně in the south and Malčice in the west,
Community structure
The municipality of Zubčice consists of the districts Markvartice ( Markwartitz ), Zubčice and Zubčická Lhotka ( Subschitzer Mehlhüttel ). Zubčice also includes the Paseky, Pflégrův Mlýn and Včelíny layers.

politics
The municipality of Zubčice has been a member of the EU-funded organization Místní akční skupiny Pomalší ("Local Action Group Maltsch" based in Velešín) since 2007 and a founding member of the Svazek obcí Poluška microregion ("Municipal Association Poluška" based in Zubčice ), which was established on September 17, 2012 ).
