Mirkovice (German Mirkowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers east of Český Krumlov and belongs to the Okres Český Krumlov .

The place is at 540 m above sea level. M. on the northern edge of the Poluška Mountains at the confluence of the Mirkovický potok in the Jílecký potok . State road 157 between Český Krumlov and Besednice runs through Mirkovice .

Neighboring towns are Žahař, Černice and Mojné in the north, Záhorkovice in the northeast, Žaltice, Žalčické Samoty and Paseky in the east, Zubčice in the southeast, Malčice in the south, Zahrádka and Chabičovice in the west and Svachova Lhotka in the northwest.

Community structure

The municipality of Mirkovice consists of the districts Chabičovice ( Kabschowitz ), Malčice ( Maltschitz ), Mirkovice, Svachova Lhotka ( Fösselhof ), Zahrádka ( Zahradka ) and Žaltice ( Zaltitz ). Basic settlement units are Chabičovice, Malčice, Mirkovice, Svachova Lhotka, Zahrádka, Žaltice and Žaltické Samoty.

The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Chabičovice, Malčice, Mirkovice, Zahrádka u Mirkovic and Žaltice.
