The Jílecký potok , also Malčický potok or Roženický potok (German Ilkobach , also Maltschitzer Bach or Rozenicer Bach ) is a right tributary of the Moldau / Vltava in the Czech Republic .
course
The creek springs north of Zahrádka ( Hague ) in the Bohemian Forest foothills associated Českokrumlovská vrchovina ( Krummenauer hills ). Its source is located at the southwestern foot of the Kraví hora (910 m nm) or north of the Ptačí vrch. On its north-leading upper course, the Jílecký potok flows west of the Kraví hora, Poluška ( Poluschka , 919 m nm) and the Hůra (799 m nm) at the villages of Silniční Domky ( street houses ), Osek ( Ossek ), Hamr ( Rosenitzhütten ), Brusnické Chalupy ( Waldhauser ) Sedlice ( Sedlitz ) and Věžovatá Pláně through the natural park Poluška.
At its middle course, the stream forms a notch valley. The villages of Včelíny, Malčice ( Maltschitz ), Zubčice , Žalčické Samoty, Hamr, Mirkovice and Žaltice ( Zaltitz ) are located on both sides of the valley . At the confluence of the Zubčický potok, Jílecký potok on the lower reaches changes its direction to the northwest and flows through a wooded kerbbohlental to Záhorkovice ( Sahorkowitz ), Mojné , Jílkův Mlýn ( Ilkomühle ), Žabař, Jakl and Svachova Lhotka ( Fösselhof ). After 12.1 kilometers, the Jílecký potok flows into the Vltava east of Přísečná at the golf course of the Golf Club Český Krumlov .
history
There used to be gold soaps at Jílecký potok.
The Kulichův kříž ( Kulich Cross ) is located below the Jílkův Mlýn in the Jílecký potok valley . The four meter high wooden cross commemorates the Krumlov doctor Josef Kulich, who fled to Budweis as a Czech patriot after the Munich Agreement and later received his ordination in the Goldenkron monastery . The 74-year-old died on March 27, 1944 on the way to see a patient at Jílecký potok.
