Brloh (German Berlau ) is a municipality in the Jihočeský kraj region (Czech Republic). It extends on both sides of the Křemžský potok in Blanský les .

history
In 1310 the Frongemeinde of the Rosenbergs was first mentioned. 1418 was Fron after the death of Ulrich II. Von Rosenberg canceled. Due to its location on the direct route from Prachatitz to Budweis , the residents of the Middle Ages experienced every war first hand. In 1660 the place got the first school that taught bilingual (German / Czech) in the 19th century. In addition to farmers, the citizens made a living in woodworking and weaving.
Attractions
- Church of St. Simon, originally the Church of St. Margaret, built by Peter I von Rosenberg in 1340, rebuilt in the Baroque style from 1697 to 1704 .
- Chapels
- Ruins of the Kuklov castle and monastery in the Jaronín part of the municipality.
