Srnín (German Sirnin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northeast of Český Krumlov and belongs to the Okres Český Krumlov . The cadastral area is 672 ha.
geography
The place is at 540 m above sea level. M. left of the Vltava valley at the eastern foot of the Blanský les . The railway line from České Budějovice to Český Krumlov runs through Srnín . The Granátnik (810 m) rises to the east, behind it are the Bílý kámen (930 m) and the Kleť (1083 m).
Neighboring towns are Nová Koruna and Zlatá Koruna in the northeast, Rájov and Býlavka in the east, Svachova Lhotka in the southeast, Přísečná in the south, Český Krumlov and Vyšný in the southwest, and Mokřady and Kokotín in the northwest.
