The Strømnæsberget ( Norwegian ) is a 2070 m high and partly snow-covered hill in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the most northeastern elevation of the XU-Fjella .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1987. It is named after the Norwegian student and part-time policeman Øistein Strømnaes (1914–1980), a leader of the resistance group XU from 1943 to 1945 against the German occupation of Norway in World War II , and his deputy and later wife Anne-Sofie Østvedt (1920–2009).
