The Strada Statale 43 (SS43) is an Italian State Street, 1928 between San Michele all'Adige and SS42 on the Ponte di Mostizzolo, a bridge across the river Noce , has been set. It goes back to a section of the Strada nazionale 23 established in 1923. Its length is 31 kilometers. Because of its course through the Non Valley , it received the title della Val di Non . After Mezzolombardo , the SS43 was placed on a road west of the Noce River in order to relieve the through traffic on the east bank.
