The Stramentizzo reservoir ( Lago di Stramentizzo in Italian ) is located in the Fiemme Valley in Italy at an altitude of 787  m slm. Administratively, it is divided between the municipality of Castello-Molina di Fiemme in Trentino and the municipality of Altrei in South Tyrol . The reservoir was completed in 1956 on the site of the village of Stramentizzo, which was replaced by a new settlement of the same name at the east end of the water. Only the portal of the Guardian Angel Church remained from the old village .

In the Stramentizzo reservoir, the Avisio is dammed for the purpose of generating electricity. The water required for this is piped in an almost 10 kilometer long tunnel under the Trudner Horn and Königswiese through to the west into the lowlands near Laag . The St. Florian power plant fed by this has an average annual output of 400 million kilowatt hours .
