Strike Master (often also Strikemaster ) is a Mexican thrash metal band from Mexico City that was formed in 2005.
history
The band was formed in 2005 by guitarist and singer Colonel Francisco Kmu, bassist Sergeant Diego and drummer Commander Chavez. Together they recorded the first demo and released it that same year under the name Murder in the Kitchen . The first local appearances in Mexico followed at the beginning of 2006. The band also recorded a second demo and was sold at concerts under the name Rushed Death . In the summer, the first international appearance followed in Puerto Rico . At that time, the band recorded their debut album, Up for the Massacre, and released it through Blower Records that same year .
In 2007 further national and international concerts followed. In the same year Sergeant Diego left the band and was replaced by Captain Ricardo Espinosa. In 2008, the EP joined Inflexible Steel . To promote the new Ep, the release was followed by a tour of Europe . This included an appearance on the Keep It True , where Strike Master was the first Mexican band at the festival. In 2009 the band began work on another album. In addition, the band heals a tour of South America , with performances in Brazil , Bolivia , Peru , Ecuador and Colombia . The new album Vicious Nightmare was released in September 2009 on Marquee Records . On the album, as on the previous EP, Kenny Powel ( Omen , Vicious Rumors ) could be heard as a guest. On October 24th, the band opened for Overkill , which was to be the final appearance for drummer Commander Chavez. Lieutenant Watson joined the cast as the new drummer in 2010. In 2011 the next album Majestic Strike was released on Blower Records.

The band plays classic thrash metal, reminiscent of the music of Sacrifice .
