Stuart Gilmore

Stuart Gilmore (born March 8, 1909 in Tombstone , Arizona , † November 19, 1971 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American film editor and film director .

Life

Originally from Arizona, Gilmore joined the film in 1928 and initially worked as an assistant in the editing department of the production company Paramount Pictures . Nine years later he was promoted to film editor.
