Stuart Schulberg

Stuart Schulberg (born November 17, 1922 in Los Angeles , California , † June 28, 1979 in New York City , New York ) was an American screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Schulberg was the son of the film producer BP Schulberg and the younger brother of the screenwriter Budd Schulberg . His daughter is the filmmaker Sandra Schulberg. After studying in Chicago , he wrote the screenplay for the documentary film Nuremberg and his apprenticeship after the Second World War and also directed it there. He then produced the Marshall Plan films for Germany and three further feature films. With his brother Budd he founded Schulberg Productions, Inc. in 1956 . From 1961 he worked as a producer for the NBC (including "The Today Show" ).
