Student foundation

A student foundation is a foundation for students - and by students.

Examples in Europe:

In contrast to z. B. For the German National Academic Foundation , these foundations are student initiatives. They are not university foundations .

In the USA there are student foundations at several universities, which are used in particular as an instrument to bind students emotionally to the university while they are still studying. B. by participating in student fundraising campaigns for scholarship programs, sporting events or improving the quality of studies.
