Sturmflut II (Subtitle: Großer Strom Elbe, Blanker Hans - Land unter ) is a German movie from 2008. The mixture of documentary and drama is the successor to the film Sturmflut from 1993.
content
The lovers Jan and Meike want to get married on the Hallig Langeneß . The pilot Jan picks up Meike in his plane in Meißen and both of them fly over cities along the Elbe . Arrived at the North Frisian Wadden Sea , the storm "Heidi" draws in and the wedding has to be postponed. After deducting the low, the wedding can take place at the end of the film. The general plot is accompanied by documentary commentaries on the sights along the route.
reception
The film, especially the dramatic framework, was rated negatively and compared with reports from the North German Broadcasting Corporation from the 1980s. The aerial shots, which were filmed with the support of a British film team that also shot aerial shots for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix , were received positively .
