Storm damage -

Sturmschaden is the third and final music album by the band Sturmschäden . It is the only album that was released on a major label .

classification

The third and last album of Sturmschäden is fundamentally different from the two previous ones. The sound is rockier and more modern, the lyrics more lyrical and eccentric. Mind catcher and the single Kunterbunt have hit qualities. Rainbow sounds almost anthemic.

The idiosyncratic voice of singer Michel was very striking and controversial among critics.

The song to fight already appeared in a different version on the previous album Vergessenes Land . With a demo version of the song Kunterbunt in 1994 the band was represented on the regional sampler Mein Freund ist Sauerländer .

The info text on the CD says: And if God had chosen Manchester to be their birthplace, Oasis would still be without a record deal.

The CD was never reissued and is no longer available today.

Trivia

Due to a layout error, the same is noted as the album title on the edge strip of the CD . At the beginning of the title Kunterbunt (pastel) you can hear Nena's telephone voice . It is an excerpt from an interview in which Nena was asked if she wanted to go on tour with the storm damage.
