The Stuyahok River is an approximately 120 km long right tributary of the Bonasila River in western Alaska .
The headwaters of the river are located in the extreme south of the Nulato Hills at an altitude of 330 m , about 40 km north-northeast of Russian Mission . The Stuyahok River initially flows in a westerly and later in a northerly direction through the hill country. It finally reaches the Bonasila River, 85 km above its confluence with a branch of the Yukon River . The Stuyahok River shows a strongly meandering behavior with numerous river bends and oxbow lakes.
