Suat Türker (born March 10, 1976 in Bayburt , Turkey ) is a former German football player of Turkish origin.
Career
By the end of the 2005/06 season, Türker had scored 36 goals in 123 regional league games at TSF Ditzingen , the amateurs of FC Bayern Munich , TSG Hoffenheim , Borussia Neunkirchen and Kickers Offenbach . In the 2nd Bundesliga he scored 37 goals in 89 games for Kickers Offenbach. His goals in the 2004/05 season contributed significantly to the rise of the Kickers in the second division.
For the 2008/09 season, Suat Türker signed a two-year contract with SC Freiburg . On January 20, 2009 he returned to Kickers Offenbach after half a year in Freiburg . But back in Offenbach, he was never able to build on his old achievements and lost his regular place. He spent the first half of the 2009/10 season mostly as a substitute on the bench.
On January 22nd, 2010 the SV Wehen Wiesbaden announced the engagement of Turk. Türker received a contract in Wiesbaden until the end of the 2010/11 season. After he had not met expectations in the second half of the 2009/10 season and was hardly used in the following season, Türker and the SVWW agreed in January 2011 before the start of the second half of an early termination of the contract. After a period of non-association, Türker was signed for a year by the Offenbacher Kickers' second team in August 2011 . After that year, Türker ended his active football career in the summer of 2012. He moved to the club's marketing department and took over the management of the club's own football school.
For the 2016/17 season, Türker took over his first post as head coach at the Hessen division SC Viktoria Griesheim .
