Submarien was a German band that was founded in Stuttgart in 2005 . The resolution was announced on the homepage in 2009.
Submarien was named in reference to their first band practice room, which was located in an air raid shelter below Marienplatz in Stuttgart and where they spent a lot of time. In the past few years Submarien has mainly appeared in clubs and at festivals in Germany, Austria, England and Sweden.
After Submarien broke up, Johnny Park and Barbara Padron Hernandez founded the band Swim Bird Fly, and Heiko Peter joined Wendrsonn in 2011 .
Barbara Padron Hernandez took part in The Voice of Germany / Season 7 in 2017 . After the blind auditions, she decided on the Fanta team led by Michi Beck and Smudo , but retired in the next round, the so-called Battle Round, in a three-way battle with Benjamin Hartmann against Anna Heimrath.
