Location and surroundings
The peak is located near the Ostry Wierch Waksmundzki , from which it is separated by the Wyżnia Filipczańska Przełęcz mountain pass , and the Zadnia Kopa Sołtysia , from which it is separated by the Zadnia Przełęcz Sołtysia mountain pass , in the Tatra National Park .
The peak lies above the Dolina Filipka and Dolina Pańszczyca valleys . The summit is forested.
