Kyōji Suga

Kyōji Suga ( Japanese 菅 恭 司 , Suga Kyōji ; born May 11, 1969 in Kutchan , Shiribeshi Sub-prefecture , Hokkaidō ) is a former Japanese biathlete .

Kyōji Suga has been running biathlon since 1988 and starts for the "winter combat training unit" of the ground self-defense forces . The athlete, who is married to the biathlete Hiromi Suga , lives in Sapporo . He made his World Cup debut in 1993 in an individual in Antholz , where he was 86th. Three years later he finished 14th in an individual in the same place. In 1997, in Nagano on the same track, he finished tenth in the top 10 for the first time. His best result - again in an individual in Antholz - he achieved in 2002. Between 1993 and 2004 Suga took part in all biathlon world championships . He achieved his best result as 14th in the sprint at the 1996 World Championships in Ruhpolding . Between 1998 and 2006 he took part in all three Olympic Games. In Nagano 1998 he achieved good results as 14th in the individual and 18th in the sprint, and in 2006 he was a good 14th in the individual.
