history
The Catholic branch church of the Holy Cross in Sulding was built in its current form in 1703 by Anton Kogler . The core of the choir and tower are late Gothic.
With the Bavarian municipality edict of 1818 the community Sulding was founded. It included the following locations:

The community Sulding had 564 inhabitants in 1964 and covered an area of 16.72 km². As part of the municipal reorganization of Bavaria on January 1, 1972, the municipality was incorporated into Hohenpolding.
