Sultonobod is an urban-type settlement in the Qoʻrgʻontepa district of the Uzbek province of Andijon in the Fergana Valley .

The place is about 60 km east of the provincial capital Andijon and about 20 km east of the district capital Qoʻrgʻontepa in the extreme east of Uzbekistan, about 7 km below the dam of the Andijon Dam . The Shahrixonsoy flows south past the place, the Andijonsoy north.

Sultonobod was founded in 1979. In 1990 the settlement had 11,500 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2015 the population was 16,450. Sultonobod received urban-type settlement status in 2009.
